Data Deletion

LinkRivers respects your right to control your data. This page explains how to request deletion of your data from our platform, including data obtained through Facebook, Instagram, and other third-party integrations.

Request Data Deletion

To request deletion of your data, send an email to:

We will confirm receipt of your request within 48 hours and complete the deletion within 30 days.

Deleting Your Account

You can delete your LinkRivers account at any time. When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:

How to delete your account

You can delete your account through either of these methods:

  1. Self-service: Log in to your LinkRivers account, go to Settings, and select "Delete Account".
  2. By email: Send a request to [email protected] from the email address associated with your account.

What is retained after deletion

After account deletion, we retain only the following data as required by law:

All other data is permanently deleted within 30 days of your request.

Facebook and Instagram Data

When you disconnect the Facebook or Instagram integration from LinkRivers, or delete your LinkRivers account, we immediately and permanently delete all data obtained from Facebook and Instagram, including OAuth access tokens, page metrics, audience data, advertising data, and Instagram account data.

Disconnecting Facebook/Instagram

To remove Facebook or Instagram data without deleting your entire account:

  1. Log in to your LinkRivers account
  2. Go to Integrations
  3. Find the Facebook or Instagram integration
  4. Click "Disconnect"

This immediately deletes all stored Facebook/Instagram OAuth tokens and any data retrieved from Meta APIs. We stop accessing your Facebook and Instagram data the moment you disconnect.

Revoking access from Facebook

You can also revoke LinkRivers' access directly from Facebook:

  1. Go to Facebook Settings
  2. Navigate to "Apps and Websites" (under Security)
  3. Find LinkRivers and click "Remove"

When you revoke access from Facebook, we are notified and will delete all associated Facebook/Instagram data from our systems.

What Facebook/Instagram data we store

When the integration is active, we store:

We do not store Facebook or Instagram user passwords. We do not access private messages. We do not share Facebook or Instagram data with third parties.

Other Integration Data

The same deletion principles apply to all third-party integrations. When you disconnect any integration (Google, GitHub, Shopify, Slack, Netlify, Vercel, Salesforce, QuickBooks, or any other), we immediately delete all stored OAuth tokens and stop accessing data from that service. Data previously retrieved for display in your dashboard is also deleted.

To disconnect individual integrations, go to Integrations in your LinkRivers account settings.

Website Visitor Data (Agent Lite)

If you installed the Agent Lite tracking script on your website, analytics data collected from your website visitors is stored in your LinkRivers account. When you delete your account, all visitor analytics data is permanently deleted.

If a visitor to your website wants their data deleted, you (as the website owner and data controller) should contact us at [email protected] with the details, and we will assist you in fulfilling the request.
